Hello! My name is Anna. I am a corporate journalist living in Switzerland. In 2021, my partner and I adopted our first cats: Odin, Loki and Shadow. Odin is one-eyed, while Loki and Shadow are blind.

After googling “how to care for blind cats”, we initially passed up on Loki and Shadow. The articles on the front page of Google made it sound limiting and complicated.

Fortunately for us and for them, we adopted them anyway. After two days, we realised the articles were nonsense. After two weeks, I found myself starting an Instagram account to show what living with blind cats is really like. And half a year later, I thought I’d take a shot at writing more accurate articles, which you can find on this website.
